Ordered Love: Putting First Things First
We all love many things—but are we loving them in the right order?
Drawing from the teachings of St. Ignatius, this session explores the concept of ordered love and the freedom that comes from placing God at the center of our lives. In marriage, disordered attachments can appear as unrealistic expectations, control, resentment, or looking to our spouse to fulfill needs only God can satisfy. We'll reflect on how a rightly ordered heart allows us to love our spouse more fully, freely, and faithfully. This evening offers a fresh perspective on marriage as an invitation to love from a place of freedom rather than fear.
